This was a ripoff. The guy who came was an academic type who was soliciting contributions to his "University of the World" effort. This is an attempt to electronically link (via video, audio, data) all institutions of learning.

He rambled on awhile about generalists vs. specialists, about his cataracts and his neurosurgeon son, "Living Systems Theory" and the Rosetta Stone. I was soooo confused. And annoyed.
